Meet the Founder

In the heart of community service and youth engagement, Jacqueline Snell stands out as a significant advocate. As the Founder and President of Jazzy Jam for Empowerment and the visionary behind Soul To Soul Solutions, LLC, she has dedicated over a decade to fostering healing, wellness, and empowerment through innovative programs that blend Social Emotional

Learning (SEL) with the arts.

Jacqueline is a Certified Wellness Specialist II, recognized by California’s Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI). Her commitment to youth is evident in the creation of over 25 SEL-based programs, including The WaterCooler Room, which enriches the lives of K–12 students, educators, and families with culturally relevant mentorship and wellness support.

Among her most recent celebrated initiatives is the annual Glam Prom Dress and Suit Giveaway, a transformative event that captures the attention of the community and beyond. This year, the event was reinforced by an overwhelming outpouring of support from Hollywood creatives,

making it a spectacular celebration for over 900 students impacted by hardship and natural disasters. It received extensive coverage from nearly every local TV media outlet, as well as local and national publications, exemplifying the joy and connection that Jacqueline strives to

cultivate in the lives of young people.

Jacqueline’s journey is rooted in her academic achievements; she holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Social Emotional Learning. Her extensive training includes certifications in Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid, QPR Suicide Prevention, Domestic Violence Counseling, and Special Event Management. She is also a

published co-author of Blueprint to Success, contributing her insights on community transformation and youth leadership.

What truly distinguishes Jacqueline is her unwavering commitment to creating “safe spaces” for youth. She artfully integrates soulful jazz, fashion, and visual arts into her wellness programming, crafting an environment that uplifts, heals, and connects individuals. Her dedication is not just professional; it is deeply personal, as she works tirelessly to ensure that young people have access to the resources and support, they need to thrive.

With a proven track record of successfully planning and executing impactful community events, Jacqueline continues to inspire and transform the lives of countless young people and families.

Our Mission & Values

At Jazzy Jam for Empowerment, we believe in being the change we want to see in our communities. Born from a deep desire to uplift, heal, and inspire, our mission is to sponsor, support, engage, and empower individuals and families while bringing visibility to the critical issues of mental health, emotional well-being, and social justice.

We accomplish this through creative, culturally relevant, and hands-on educational programming, workshops, and training opportunities that are rooted in real-life experiences. Our initiatives are designed not only to promote awareness but also to cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, emotional resilience, and community connection—especially among underserved populations.

Core Values

Listen. Learn. Lead.

Listening, learning, and leading is at the core of what we do. Our mission since our inception is formed around listening, summarizing and reflecting what’s being said and most importantly what’s not being said. We do this to promote and provide adequate and impactful social-emotional wellness for all of who we serve.

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far go together.

Is an African Proverb we hold near and dear to our mission, vision and organizational core values. We do not do this work alone. With our combined knowledge, lived experience and current societal needs as it pertains to social emotional care and mental health wellness, we have cultivated a dynamic...
